My Enemies Are Investigating Me Secretly – Nyako

Governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State has claimed that his political foes, having failed in their move to clip his wings through the emergency rule imposed on the state, have devised new means of investigating his records of service with a view to destroying his political career.
The governor made the statement during a town hall meeting with women groups at the banquet hall of the Dougirei Government House, Yola.
He stressed that “some belligerent politicians are gleefully fomenting trouble” with a view to distracting him from giving Adamawa people the dividends of democracy. But the governor disclosed  that he had made it a policy to make the trouble makers jittery, hence his resolve to fight back.
“I am not a trouble maker but anyone that looks for my trouble will surely get it back,” he added.
Nyako added that his political foes have since launched a subterranean and secret investigation into his past with a view to unravelling any misdeed during his career in the military in order to finish him politically. However, he was quick to say their ill motives could not come to fruition because he left behind an unblemished reputation during his military days.
“My political foes have been investigating my past record of service with a view to establishing an offence against me but the more they dig the more futile their efforts as I always come out clean,” he said.
