PDP Will Win All Round In 2015 – Gov Aliyu

Niger State governor, Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu has stated that he is not afraid of any political adversaries, and expressed confidence that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would form the government both at the federal level and in Niger State in 2015.

Aliyu in his usual outspoken manner also took a swipe at those he said have inundated him with all sorts of text messages over the proposal of Hajiya Asmau Ahmed as a ministerial nominee from Niger State.
The governor who spoke at the SURE-P Youth Development and passing out of community-based traffic officers in Minna yesterday told PDP members not to be afraid because nothing would stop the party from forming the government in Niger State and in Nigeria in 2015.

Aliyu said he was surprised by the kind of text messages he has been receiving since Hajiya Ahmed was announced as ministerial nominee from Niger State.

The governor, who did not give details of the messages, said he did not singlehandedly nominate Hajiya Ahmed but she emerged through a process after five women in the state were nominated.
He stated that the state decided to submit the name of a female because President Goodluck Jonathan requested for a female nominee just as he did in 2011, saying that those who are against the nomination are ignorant of the process.
