Aero Contractors AirplaneMr Simon Tumba, Aero Contractors Airline spokesman, on Friday confirmed that the airline`s aircraft made an air return, as a result of a sensor alarm noticed on the flight deck.

In a statement in Lagos, Tumba noted that Aero`s flight AJ 2002 flying between Lagos and Douala, Cameroon, this afternoon had an air return, as a result of a sensor alarm noticed by the flight crew on the flight deck.

“Following strict safety standard procedures, our flight crew decided to abort the flight,” the statement said.
The spokesman, however, said that the problem had been fixed, while the airline management awaits the approval of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), to commence the use of the aircraft. (NAN)
