Defection: Jonathan To Receive Udenwa, Anyanwu, Ahamba, Others Feb 21

Goodluck Jonathan in Yoruba cap President Goodluck Jonathan will on February 21 receive former governor of Imo State, Achike Udenwa, Senator Chris Anyanwu and Chief Mike Ahamba (SAN), who are defecting from the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State.

Jonathan will receive the defectors in a grand rally which will hold at the Owerri township stadium.
This was revealed yesterday in Abuja by the chairman of the Imo State Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P), Chief Longers Anyanwu who doubles as the chairman of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the rally to receive the former governor of Imo State and other defectors.
Speaking on the return of the former governor and other opposition members  to PDP, Anyanwu said: “This is to show the world that PDP in the state has been repositioned and all the founding fathers and members that left the party are gradually coming back.”
