NUPENG Applauds NIPCO’s Operational Excellence

http://leadership.ng/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/image3-300x195.jpgThe National Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers[NUPENG] has commended the high level integrity and candor being exhibited by NIPCO management which have resulted in the brilliant performance of the company in the nation’s oil and gas industry in the last three years.

The commendation was given during a courtesy visit by the union to NIPCO management at its Apapa terminal in Lagos is a fallout of the leadership roles of the organisation as acclaimed by stakeholders in the sector.

NUPENG Zonal chairman, Alhaji Tokunbo Korodo, who led the delegation, said they had watched with admiration the meteoric rise of the company in the last 36 months since the present leadership came on board.

He described the present Managing Director, Mr Venkatapathy Venkataraman as a big blessing to the company and the industry in general going by the growth pattern of the company in the last three years.

The union, Alhaji Korodo noted, had watched with keen interest and admiration the zeal and commitment shown so far by the present leadership which had remained unrivalled in the industry
’’Your efforts at promoting industrial harmony are a laudable one and will go a long way in ensuring continuous growth in the company and further shore up investors’ keen interest in the downstream giant,” he declared.

Alhaji Korodo affirmed that NUPENG –NIPCO relationship had remained very cordial to the delight of stakeholders, adding that no efforts would be spared to ensure the continuity of this noble path.

He assured that the union would stand solidly behind the organisation and block any move to truncate the continued growth of the company among its peers.

In his own remarks, the national vice president of the union, Alhaji Aliu Balogun said the union had received tremendous support from the company praying that the organisation would grow from strength to strength.
