The indictment group, headed by the state Solicitor-General, Mrs Abiola Adewemimo, called six witnesses and tendered some exhibits amid the arraignment.

The indictment told the court that on November 13, 2010, men were located around Balogun's home outfitted with cutlass and a dane gun, and that while two of them were captured, others got away.

The convicts were said to have admitted that they stole the complainant's fowls, including that they had been in his home before to take.

Adewemimo said: "They additionally expressed that they had prior victimized Alhaja Umani Oyewo in her home and stole ovens, eggs and barrels of vegetable oil from the house."

In his judgment, Justice Falola indicted them on just three numbers: to death for intrigue; life sentence for burglary, and three years detainment for stealing.
