FG intercepts Russian plane with arms in Kano

Security operatives have, Saturday, intercepted a Russian plane carrying arms and ammunition at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano.

The crew have been taking into custody, according to a security operative who seeks anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

Vanguard cannot independently verify if the munitions destination is Nigeria or whether the plane was in transit....Details soon.
