We Are Not Dating, its a Publicity Stunt – D’banj Speaks on Alleged SA Girlfriend

Last week, the news of D’banj’s new relationship with the South African Media queen Bonang was all over town. Many were of the opinion that this was another publicity stunt from the DB Records Boss, who has also had a similar ‘relationship’ with Genevieve Nnaji in the past. However, all this ‘second guesses’ were mere assumptions because there was no evidence.

Reports from YNaija say that a member of D’banj’s crew has denied the authenticity of his boss’s new relationship and has labelled it a ‘ publicity stunt’.
In the words of the anonymous member of DB Records Camp:
“it is a publicity stunt. They are having a good laugh over all the media reports. He is shooting a video in South Africa and Bonang is being featured in it. The video is shot and directed by Mazi C.I. Jizzle, in South Africa and is meant to throw up a new perspective and get attention for the boss, he is not in any relationship so to speak for now, that is all i can say.”
