President Goodluck Jonathan rejected idea to carry out investigation of the controversial audio allegedly uncovering  plot by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the military to rig Ekiti State elections held June 21.

Jonathan explained why there was no need for the investigation:
“It’s all fabrications. Why should I investigate things that are not real?”

Meanwhile the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Kayode Fayemi, who is believed to have lost in Ekiti, said:

“It’s very sad. The military has lost any democratic control.”
