According to Chairman of Hausa Community in the state, Alhaji Badamasi Salihu, killing of security guards at Lagos street is a common phenomenon. He recalled the beheading of three teenagers in the same area last year, adding that those behind the heinous act were yet to be arrested.

He therefore, appealed for more protection from security agencies. Confirming the incident, Edo Police spokesman, DSP Joseph Edogiawerie, said investigation has commenced into the matter.
