Former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has lauded the military for liberating towns under the control of boko haram.
Atiku, who hails from one of the troubled states commended the military in a statement by his Deputy Head of Media, Mr Paul Ibe, which was released in Abuja on Wednesday.
The statement reads, “Although these operations could have come earlier, it is important to commend the military for coming to the aid of the communities in the affected areas.
“Incursions on small communities are still happening, as retreating insurgents raid for food; I hope the operations strategy is aware of this, and mops up as needed.
“It is also my hope that the Nigerian military, neighbouring forces, local leaders and vigilante groups will continue to collaborate towards decisively ending this insurgency.”

Very well said Turakin Adamawa.
ReplyDeleteWe are really happy for the positive CHANGE and result against the insurgents in the North East and we are believing to hear more good news in the nearest future and possibly a total end to the boko haram menace.
Kudos to the Nigerian Military.
