(11:41pm) - PDP's Godswill Orubebe has been suppressed, announcement of results continue...

HAPPENING NOW!!! - (11:34am) - PDP is currently attempting to disrupting the announcement of the remaining result,

The PDP agent at the National Collation center, Elder Godswill Orubebe is currently attacking the INEC chairman, Athhairu Jega.

The PDP agent alleged that APC sent a petition about irregularities in Rivers which INEC is currently investigating, while INEC is yet to respond to the petition sent by PDP on Kano, Kastina and Jigawa

Orubebe accused the INEC chairman of being partial and tribalistic and ordered the INEC chairman to meet him at his office.

Mr Orubebe has currently embarrassing Nigeria on national TV, as he is currently screaming as he promised to stop the announcement of further results.

However Mr Jega has currently responded that he did not declare any unannounced results, and warned PDP's Mr Orubebe who is a former minister for power and former Niger Delta minister to conduct himself properly in public.

(11:05am) INEC has officially announced 19 of 37 states and FCT.
The results announced have been in sync with independently collated results as announced at the state level for most places.
As at the time of this report, only results from some Local govts in Edo, Yobe and Benue were not announced.
This is how the Total results are likely to go, since whatever comes out of Edo and Benue where APC may lose some of the ground gained is likely to be compensated by results from Yobe.

Muhammadu Buhari, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is on the verge of winning last Saturday’s presidential elections, according to official results released so far by collation centres of the Independent National Electoral Commission across Nigeria.

Although we still await official announcement of results by the INEC returning officials from some states on Tuesday, NigerianEye collated results already declared by INEC on Monday, and also retrieved more results from the local governments announced by INEC and added them up to come up with preliminary results combined from the local government areas.

As shown in the table above, the results already announced by INEC are in red, while the figures in black have not been officially announced by Prof Jega, but were announced at the state level.

According to the total of the results gathered by NE so far from the several local governments in Nigeria, Buhari's APC leads with 14,267,561 while Jonathan was able to gather 12,198,657.

Although official results released so far by INEC suggests that APC has gathered 8,255,585
while the PDP has gathered 6,338,321

In both the official and non-official results, Buhari leads Jonathan by about 2 millon votes, and is on his way to becoming the next Nigerian president.

(9:00am) - Good morning, we are sure you had a good night.

As we patiently await the release of the remaining results of the presidential elections, a quick review of how the top 2 candidates are performing so far.

Below is a Nigerian map showing the states the 2 leading parties have won so far according the results announced by INEC.

BLUE - Buhari (APC)
RED   -  Jonathan (PDP)
