Today, Wednessday April 22, 2015 marks Five whole years since Olaitan Oladapo Olaonipekun better known as Dagrin died sadly.
Dagrin had passed away at 6:00PM on Thursday, April 22, eight days after being involved in a ghastly accident in front of Alakara Police station, off Agege motor road, Mushin, Lagos.
Dagrin’s Nissan Maxima 2008 model had sped into a parked lorry, he was taken to the Tai Solarin Hospital, Mushin before being transferred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Idi Araba where Doctors made serious efforts to save his life.
The late rapper began rapping at the tender age of 14 and grew to be one of the most wanted rappers in the nation.
He released his first album in 2006 ‘Still on the Matter’.
Nigerians went online to pay their respect to the late rapper, Nigerians internationally also paid respect in great volume, that made his name trend in Top 10 trends in United States earlier today.
