PDP governorship candidate Ifeanyi Okowa wins Delta election with 724,680 votes; beats Great Ogboru of LP with 130,028 votes to the second place.
The result was announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Returning Officer, Professor Bio Nyananyo of the Federal University, Otuoke, at the commission’s headquarters in Okpanam Road, Asaba the state capital.
Professor Nyananyo said that Senator Okowa was declared winner after he had polled a total of 724,680 votes.
The result sheets were duly signed and accepted by the party agents of all candidates in the election.
