As Nigerians continue to react to the sudden sack of Suleiman Abba as the Inspector General of Police ( IGP) by President Goodluck Jonathan and the appointment of DIG Solomon Arase as the Acting IGP, rumours have been going round about the possible reason why the former Police boss was shown the exit door.
There were speculations that Abba got sacked due to his obvious ‘favoritism’ to the opposition party, the All Progressives Congress, before and during the just concluded elections. However, top Nigerian lawyer, socialist, critic, columnist and human right activist, Festus Keyamo has joined the train of Nigerians giving their opinions about the sudden sack of the former IGP.

Keyamo took to his Twitter page few hours ago to make known some points. He said that all the talks about Goodluck Jonathan’s statesmanship behavior just after the presidential election are all shadows. He said that deep down, GEJ still holds grudges against perceived enemies that were responsible for his defeat. Read the interesting tweets below:

Aranse, an Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), was appointed following the immediate sack of the former IG, Suleiman Abba by President Goodluck Jonathan.
