Former Governor of Rivers state, Rotimi Amaechi, has organised a concert in honour of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The concert tagged #NewNigeriaConcert is slated for today, Saturday May 30, 2015 in Abuja.
Rotimi Amachi who decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) following a dispute with the party, once said he would have fled the country if Muhammadu Buhari did not win the presidential election.
The former governor had constant running battles with the former first lady, Patience Jonathan, over the affairs of Rivers State, while he was in office.
Back in February, he accused Patience Jonathan of masterminding the attack on members and supporters of APC in Okrika.
He
specifically stated that Buhari would instil discipline and uprightness
on corrupt public officials in the country after he is sworn in as
president.
He has also warned that those who will be found guilty of having committed electoral fraud in the just concluded general elections will not escape punishment by the administration of Buhari.
