Saviour Godwin scored a quick brace for Nigeria as the Flying Eagles won their first match at the ongoing U-20 World Cup in New Zealand, in a 4-0 routing of Korea DP Thursday morning.
Bobby Saraki and Isaac Success got the other goals for the African champions in a match in which all the goals were scored in the second half.

Following their 2-4 defeat to Brazil on Monday, the Manu Garba-led side came under serious scrutiny by sports enthusiasts and football administrators all over the country and they responded in devastating fashion by dealing the Asians a big blow.
Garba left goalkeeper, Joshua Enaholo in the starting line-up, despite his howlers which cost the team the first match but dropped Success, Musa Yahaya and Kelechi Iheanacho to the bench following criticisms over their performance in the game against Brazil.

Korea DPR, who have now emerged as the whipping boys of the group, have been effectively knocked out of the tournament as the African giants moved to second in the group pending the result of the match between Brazil and Hungary later today.
Nigeria’s next game is against Hungary on Saturday, June 7 by 6 am.
Sports analyst, Adewale Ajayi, had on Monday, blasted Garba for his tactical inadequacy which was responsible for Nigeria’s woeful performance against the latin American football kings.
