Popular Model, Fitness Instructor Hacked To Death

A Nigerian guy has been hack to death by armed robbers.

The 28-year-old model who also worked as a fitness instructor had once campaigned against knife crime.

Michael Adegbite was also a teaching assistant had put up for sale on a classified website, Gumtree a second hand Macbook laptop for 200 pounds. His hackers had posed as a prospective buyer.

He had gone to meet the prospective buyer in Enfield alongside a friend when he met the youngsters.

Policemen said they believed the men lured Adegbite to the rendezvous with the intention of laying ambush for him because of the laptop. He was able to snatch back his laptop after the youngsters tried to rob him and his friend of the computer while the robbers ran away.

Police however said shortly after the incident, Adegbite and his friend were joined by another friend and together they set out to search for the team that tried to rob them. They later found the group and a fight ensued during which he was stabbed in the chest.

Adegbite was said to have died by the roadside 30 minutes after he was stabbed despite frantic efforts by paramedics to save his life.
