Tragedy struck yesterday along Sapele road country home junction, Benin, the Edo state capital when a truck driver mistakenly crushed his own motor boy to death.
The incident which caused a major traffic gridlock in the area, was witnessed by one Mr. Clement Nwenazi, who sent in photos from the scene of the accident to Naij.com.
The motor boy was said to have been seated in the compartment between the driving area and the truck’s loading area.
While in motion, the boy reportedly fell from the compartment and was crushed to death by the truck while the driver was unaware until passersby called his attention to the incident. By which time, the motor boy was already dead.
The scene of the accident was filled with people who came to catch a glimpse of the unfortunate motor boy.
