The retained stars are: Austin Obaroakpo(Abia Warriors), Usman Mohammed (Taraba) and Prince Aggreh (Sunshine Stars) Ikechukwu Ezenwa(Sunshine Stars), Solomon Kwambe(Warri Wolves),Chima Akas(Sharks).

These players are expected to report to the Super Eagles camp at Bolton White Hotels and Apartments, Zone 7 on Monday,August 31,2015 alongside the invited foreign based professional. 

The Super Eagles are expected to leave Abuja for Tanzania via a chartered Arik Air flight on Thursday September 3, 2015. The team will move straight to Port Harcourt from Tanzania to continue preparations for the September 8  friendly against Niger Republic.
