Nigerian Army Foils Boko Haram Attack, Nabs Insurgent (Photo)

The Nigerian army has nabbed the member of the deadly Boko Haram sect while he was trying to carry out suicide attack.

This Boko Haram terrorist allegedly loaded a car with huge explosives and was going to drive in into a densely populated area or security checkpoint but he was intercepted by armed forces. The militant was immediately arrested.

According to the United Nations children’s agency the insurgency has kept more than one million children out of school in four West African states.

President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria gave the army a deadline of the end of the month to overcome the sect.

But the deadline is likely to be extended as the Boko Haram insurgents are still bombing areas despite losing towns under its control in March.
