PHOTOS/VIDEO: 6 Participating Bands Display Colour, Style And Panache At Calabar Carnival

The ongoing 2015 Calabar Carnival is living up to its expectations as the colours on display are exciting, bold and interesting. 

The carnival which has attracted so many people from far and wide is gradually gaining momentum as the dance, costumes and celebrities on display has added colour and panache to the event regarded as Africa’s biggest street party.

Naij.com on ground who monitored the carnival yesterday, December 28, highlights the six bands participating in the carnival, with emphasis on their style and creativity.

1. Bayside Band: Simple, sassy and creative. A delight to watch and a very organised group.

2. Freedom Band: A band that seem to have carefully selected beautiful ladies who have mastered the art of dancing and smiling.

3. Seagull Band: Led by’Mama Bakassi’, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, their style is not for the weak. Cool stuff!

4. Governor’s Band: Led by the state’s number one citizen and his wife, Ben and Lynda Ayade, it was a display of class, style and luxury.

5. Passion Band: The passion band mastered the art of dancing, acrobatics and more dance. xciting band!

6. Masta Blasta Band: A band whose creativity was hailed by virtually everyone who witnessed their procession.
