Samuel Ortom, the governor of Benue state, and his wife Eunice have adopted an adorable baby girl.
The little girl was among the children the couple met during their recent visit to Mama Abayol Orphanage in Makurdi.
Benue.com.ng reports that the baby was brought to the orphanage after she had been found abandoned by her biological parents.
The newly adopted girl was christened Destiny Wuese Ter Ortom.

Earlier this year, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, the governor of Nasarawa state, took full custody of a six-year-old physically challenged boy Husseini Abubakar. The governor also promised to sponsor the boy’s education from primary to tertiary institution.
Al-Makura made the boy during an inspection of flood-prone areas along Jos road in Lafia.
