The groom tells Naij.com that when he first met his bride, it was love at first sight for both of them.

He said: “Even though we were standing far apart, there was an instant attraction between us. I smiled and she smiled at me too. Then I walked up to her and said: ‘Hello, beautiful.’ She responded with a ‘Hi’ and a very beautiful smile. That was when I noticed the angel in her. She captivated me heart.”

Ahmed says they introduced themselves and later became very close.

“Then we started dating and dating and dating and finally, we got married,” he says. “That’s our story.”

The couple were married in a traditional Muslim ceremony attended by friends and family. It was a colourful and beautiful day.
