Ahead of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) which will begin in Rwanda on January 16, the home based Super Eagles have departed for South Africa for the final phase of preparations.
Twenty-three home based players made the list and will be battle ready to play in Group C, alongside Tunisia, Guinea, Niger Republic at the tournament.
Meanwhile, Gbolahan Salami who was said to have dumped the team as reports say he is perfecting his contract signing with a foreign club was however left out of the squad.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation, the team departed the shores of the country today, December 2.
