There are so many things that we do not know about the lawmakers in the 8th Senate. We know they are there to pass laws in the country, but how well do you know them?
Did you know Biodun Olujimi, representing Ekiti south senatorial district, was born on Christmas Day while Ibn Na’Allah representing Kebbi south senatorial district went to pilot school at age 17?

How much do you know your Nigerian lawmakers in the eighth Senate. On Thursday, March 31, NAIJ.com compiled a short biography of five principal officers in the Senate. Here are five more below.
Senator Phillip Aduda
1. Phillip Aduda
The senator was born in Karu, FCT Abuja. He attended Government Secondary School, Gwagwalada, from 1983 to 1987. Then he attended Kaduna State Polytechnic from 1987 to 1990 for his secondary education.
While at the University of Jos, he gained a diploma in social works and social development from 1990 to 1992. At the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Abuja Campus, he gained a higher diploma in public administration from 1993 to 1997.
He was elected as member of the House of Representatives for AMAC/Bwara in Abuja (2003–2007), and was appointed chairman of the House committee on the Federal Capital Territory, and a member of other committees.
He was re-elected to represent Bwari Area, Abuja in the House of Representatives in 2008. He served two terms in the national House of Representatives between 2003 and 2011. He was born June 13, 1969, and is 46 years old.

Bala Ibn Na’Allah
2. Bala Ibn Na’Allah: The Senator representing Kebbi south senatorial district is the deputy majority leader. He was born on June 2, 1967.
He attended Yewande Primary School, Surulere, Lagos. He also attended Police Secondary School, Minna, in Niger state.
Thereafter, he proceeded to Cape Flying School in South Africa, at the age of 17 but could not take his check-ride until December 2008 because he was underage.
Thereafter, Senator Na’allah obtained a bachelor’s degree in law.
However, Ibn Na’Allah was elected to the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to represent Zuru, Kebbi state from 2003 to 2011.
He is married and blessed with children. In the 2015 elections, he contested for the Kebbi south senatorial seat and won on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Emmanuel Bwacha
3. Emmanuel Bwacha: The senator representing Taraba south senatorial district is also the deputy minority leader. In April 2011, he was elected to the Senate on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) platform.
He was re-elected for the same party in the March 28 2015 federal elections.
Bwacha was born in the Donga local government area of Taraba state. He attended the University of Calabar.
From May 2003 to 2007, Bwacha was elected as a member of the House of Representatives to represent Donga/Ussa/Takum constituency. He was the chairman of the House committee on police affairs.

Francis Alimikhena
4. Francis Asekhame Alimikhena: He is the deputy chief whip but also represents Edo north senatorial district. He was born on October 18, 1947. He hails from Estako local government area of Edo state.
He had his secondary education at St Thomas Secondary Modern School and later proceeded to the University of Buckingham, the United Kingdom, from where he graduated with a degree in law.
In 2007, he contested on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo north senatorial district, but unfortunately lost.
He thereafter defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). In the 2015 elections he contested for the senatorial seat on the APC platform and won.
Biodun Olujimi
5. Biodun Christine Olujimi: The senator representing Ekiti south senatorial district is the Senate deputy minority whip.
She was born to a photographer father and seamstress mother on December 25, 1958. She hails from Omuo-Ekiti in Ekiti East local government area of Ekiti state.
Biodun Olujimi attended Our Lady of Apostles, Ibadan, Oyo state. Thereafter, she obtained a diploma in journalism from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism.
She proceeded further to obtain a degree in political science and a postgraduate degree in public relations and marketing from the University of Abuja.
In the 2015 elections she contested for the Ekiti south senatorial district and won on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
She has been married to Chief Ariyo Olujimi for 32 years. They have children and grand-children.
