– Two mad men reportedly died after a prophet administered anointing oil on them
– The mad men were taken for deliverance to a prayer ministry where they died
– Serious manhunt for the prophet has begun
Two mad men of same parents reportedly died while receiving prayers in a prayer ministry at Mile 50, Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital.
Daily Sun reports that three siblings, who were mad, were taken to the ministry for prayers by one of their brothers simply identified as Chinedu.
Chinedu felt the prayers were not effective enough to heal his brothers and allegedly sought for another powerful prophet outside the church to come and pray for them.
According to an eyewitness, the prophet prayed and administered a substance suspected to be ‘anointing oil’ on the three mad men and left.
Surprisingly, two out of the three mad men were found dead the next morning.

Confirming the incident, the spiritual director of the prayer ministry, Evangelist Ephraim Ononye said his ministry was not responsible for the deaths.
He said after many days of prayers and deliverance, the three mad men who were brought for healing were almost recovering when the unfortunate incident happened.
Ononye, who is also the chairman of Ebonyi State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), explained that he was at Governor David Umahi’s mother’s burial in Uburu when one of his pastors called to tell him about the death of two out of the three mad men.
He quickly rushed back only to be told that a certain prophet allegedly came into the church and administered a substance on the mad men.
Ononye said he called the police to report the incidence.
