Nigeria’s former vice president, Atiku Abubakar on Tuesday, May 24, received the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi at his Maitama, Abuja residence.
The first class king, who was in Lagos two weeks ago visited Nike Art Gallery in Lekki, where he met with the owner of the gallery Chief Mrs Nike Okundaye Davies who took him round the gallery.
The APC chieftian shared photos from the visit on his Facebook page, said: “Was honoured to receive the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi today at my home.”

A few weeks ago, a number of Yoruba actors and movie markers paid a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife in Ile Ife, Osun state.
Among the artists that visited His Royal Majesty are Saidi Balogun, Murphy Afolabi and Kemi Afolabi. The CEO of Olasco Films Alhaji Olajide Hakeem Balogun was also there to represent the Yoruba Video Film Producers and Marketers Association of Nigeria.
The Ooni has being a promoter of the Yoruba culture and language since his ascension. He has being championing the cause of children speaking Yoruba language.
