A very impressive comeback from France over Ireland in the second half have helped Le Blues cruise into the quarterfinal stage of the ongoing European Championships.
The epic encounter saw Ireland take the lead just two minutes into the game as Robert Brady converted from the spot after Pogba clumsily bundled into Shane Long in the box.
With the hosts trailing at half time, France improved their prowess upfront in the second half and were eventually rewarded with the equaliser when Sagna delivered a cracking cross from the right and Griezmann, on the penalty spot, planted his header past Randolph to make it 1-1.
Griezmann made it 2-1 in the 61st minute when a long ball forward which found Giroud, who dragged two defenders out of the way, and his nod down was perfectly played to Griezmann who headed home the second. It ended; France 2-1 Ireland
