Late music producer OJB Jezreel

On July 4, 2016, Nigerian music producer, Babatunde Okungbowa aka OJB Jezreel, would have hit the golden age 50. But unfortunately, he died on Tuesday, June 14, 2016.

In order to give him a befitting burial cum post-humus 50^th birthday, his family has released his final burial rites. It is to commence on July 4, 2016, the day he would have celebrated his 50th birthday.

His family through his elder brother, Apostle Albert Okungbowa released his final burial rites on Tuesday, June 21. The ceremony will kick off with a candle light procession on Monday July 4, 2016 from 5pm at his residence 4, Gbaja Street, Surulere, Lagos.

Laying in State at his Residence: #4, Gbaja str, Surulere, Lagos.

Service at Redeemed Christian Church of God, Grace Chapel

#129, Ogunlana Drive Surulere,

Lagos.

9am.

His remains will be buried at Ikoyi Cemetery, Ikoyi after service.

Meanwhile, one of the artists that hit limelight through OJB’ dexterity, 2Baba Idibia who was away in Kenya when the producer died told Pulse.ng that: “Working with him was wonderful. We made magic together. I wish there was so much more I could have done for him before he died.”

OJB spoke about the making of 2Baba’s hit album Grass To Grace saying: “The 2face Idibia Grass To Grace still remains the most tasking project I’ve done till date. I say it because most people don’t know 2face is very stubborn (laughs). Sorry to say this, but Festac boys are really stubborn”
