Nigeria’s vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, has called on Nigerians and civil servants in particular, to continue leaving a life of gratitude to God in any situation.
Osinbajo made the call on Sunday, July 31, in Abuja, at a special miracle and thanksgiving service at the Living Faith Church,Jayi, Abuja, as part of activities to mark this year`s civil service week.
He was represented at the service by Pastor Oluseyi Malomo, Chaplin of Aso Villa Chapel.

Osinbajo tasked civil servants in the country to remain obedient to constituted authorities; “not in eye service, but in the fear of God’’.
He further charged civil servants to see themselves as not working for man, but working for God who rewards all men.
Osinbajo expressed optimism that a new “tribe’’ of dedicated Nigerians would soon emerge that would have firm believe in the country`s development and work toward it.
Pastor John Ugwu offered special prayers for the country`s leadership, all of its sectors and the civil service in particular.

Ugwu charged Christian faithful to continue leaving godly lives, stressing that it was the only way to ensure good living and prosperity.
This year`s civil service week, will bring government ministries, departments and agencies together for various activities and sporting events in the spirit of one public service.
The civil service week is a global annual event which seeks to recognise the value of the services rendered by federal public service employees and their contributions to the federal administration.
