A driver narrowly escaped death from a fallen tree.

A driver would have met their untimely death on Thursday, August 25, at the University of Ghana, when a huge tree fell across the road and onto the SUV.

According to an eyewitness, the massive mahogany tree which fell from its root, landed on the car within a few minutes after the driver got out.

The tree reportedly fell due to a leaking pipe that was running under the tree, and also the tree hadn’t been pruned for a long time.
