Arsene Wenger confirms Arsenal have bought two new players

– Arsenal have signed Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed the club have signed Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez.

Speaking after the Gunner’s 3 – 1 win over Watford at Vicarage road Wenger said the players will be officially announced after the finalisation of paperwork.

German defender Mustafi joins from from Valencia and Spanish forward Perez will join from Deportivo La Coruna.

“We have bought two players, Mustafi and Perez,” he said following the comfortable victory at Vicarage Road. “Now we can integrate them into the squad.

“We have to finish the paperwork. It looks as though it will be announced at the beginning of the week.

“We had to work very hard to get signings done. We have not got any plans for anyone else now.”

According to the Daily Mail UK, Mustafi is expected to cost £35m while £16.9m has ben shelled out to get left footed Perez.

The deals mean the Gunners have now spent close to £90m this summer following the arrivals of Granit Xhaka, Rob Holding and Taksuma Asano.
