President Muhammadu Buhari has clarified that he never received pension from the army even though he served as a head of state.

In a series of tweets by Garba Shehu who is the senior special adviser to President Buhari on media and publicity, he explained that contrary to rumour, the president did not get cars from the federal government as other past presidents have.

He noted that the president however received cars from the Goodluck Jonathan administration through the office of the national security adviser which has headed by Sambo Dasuki after the bomb incident that almost claimed his life.
