Recently, Nigerian Ambassador Nominee, Mrs Vivian Okeke, gave a speech at the Venezuelan Embassy in Abuja on building International Trade relations with Latin America to economically empower Nigerian made products which can be exported to Latin America.
Mrs Vivian Okeke who is a representative of the Foreign Affairs Center of Nigeria, spoke on behalf of President Buhari at this event.
She expressed deeply the need for both nations to come together and foster a good international trade relationship in order to economically empower each other during this period of recession which has brought about issues like low oil prices, etc.

On the issue of day-to-day traders who work hard to make their own products in Nigeria, Mrs Vivian Okekestres said it is important to fight for the right of traders and entrepreneurs in these hard times and this can be achieved through good trade relationships with countries like Venezuela who are also struggling with recession and facing oil prices issues.
“Promoting international trade relationships with countries like Venezuela will help promote Nigerian made products, which will be exported, and this in return will help boost the Nigerian economy,” she said.
