There would be no gold or silver medals for Nigeria in the men’s football tournament following a crushing 2 – 0 defeat to Germany in the quarter-finals.
As expected Nigerians had a lot to say about the crushing defeat.
Most who commented on social media claimed Nigeria missed star striker Oghenekaro Etebo, others felt Okechukwu Azubuike was missed in midfield.
