Physical intimacy is paramount for humans. So, all over the world people come up with stunning and even crazy traditions and practices. Learn what fathers in Cambodia do for their teenage daughters.
In most countries, fathers are protective of their girls and do not allow them to be late out at night with their boyfriends. Boys are the same all over the world. They want just one thing from the girls. Fathers know it only too well.
However, dads in this Cambodian village are not afraid of their girls sleeping around with boys. Moreover, they build for their teenage daughters special sex huts. The tribe is called Kreung. People in it believe that women become stronger and better for sleeping around with many men.
Dads build these shelters, so the girls would not have to bring the boys over to their houses. Young ladies can have as many sexual partners as they like before they meet the true love and get settled down.
In the past people from this tribe believed that alcohol is the perfect contraceptive for girls to avoid unwanted pregnancies. Luckily now they know that thing does not work, so they also provide the ladies with condoms in their sex huts.
Many girls reaching the age of 14+ move to the love huts and live there near their parents’ homes. Here is what one of them says:
“The huts provide us independence and are the best way through which we can explore our true lover.”
Surely parents in this region managed to avoid all the teen related conflicts, but they face a high rate of HIV among the young population and no wonder why. One of their achievements is the absence of violence in the families and divorces. They pay the dear price for their “peace”, though.
