A Christian group, Christian Information Network has lashed out at an aide to the former president reno Omokri over attack on Femi Fani-Kayode.

One of the group members Prince Chidi in a statement said the sudden strength exhibited by Omokri agfisnt the former minister is irresponsible.

Fani-Kayode on Thursday had come after Omokri over statements that the Hausa, predominately spoken by Nigerians from the north is unique.

Omokri’s statement came after Facebook CEO, Mark Zukerberg during his trip to Lagos, Nigeria said Facebook choose the inclusion of Hausa language in its operation due to its uniqueness.

Fani-Kayode in disagreement said it is part of the effort to ‘northernize’ Nigeria.

Also Chidi in his statement advised Nigerians not be distracted by Omokri’s comments.

Chidi said: “I advise we must not be distracted by Reno Omokri’s exhibition of the Slave attributes. If Reno could swiftly respond to El-Rufai the way he did to FFK, GEJ should have been in the office today.”

He further noted that Omokri failed in the task given to him by the former president as a social media expert.

“They brought him in from America to do that but he just wasn’t up to the task,” Chidi said.

“Throughout that time he allowed El-Rufai to have the field day orchestrating the barrage of lies, fabrication, propaganda and campaign of calumny against Jonathan.

“I wonder why Reno should find his voice now the deed has been done. Like an irresponsible errand boy, his licking the ass of Hausa Fulani will not make him their hero,” he said.

Also, Kingsley Okah, a Nigerian on Facebook cautioned citizens on the real purpose of Zuckerberg’s visit.

Okah said the undercover story behind Zuckerberg’s visit is his description of the Hausa language as a unique one.

He said: “He has perfected plan on how to handle Hausa language on Facebook, unfortunately his visit is coming after John Kerry left Nigeria.”

Okah also said the inclusion of the Hausa language against other languages raises question on a unfolding event of the current state of Nigeria’s leadership.

He also lashed out on Omokri for defending Zuckerberg and further attacking former minister Fani-Kayode.

He said: “It is rather unfortunate that he betrayed his brothers and tactically supported one of the efforts geared towards giving their agenda serious security.”

“The consequence of enlisting Hausa language on Facebook transcends mere language uniqueness, it is an indirect way of telling the rest of us that we are slaves in this country.

However, I pray that Reno secures the job he sold his brothers and integrity for,” Okah said.
