A chilling dashcam video has recorded the exact moment a plane crashed near Malta International Airport on Monday. The terrible accident killed all five people who were on board.

The footage was captured by a man called Laurent Azzopardi, who was on his way to work, around 7:20 am, when the incident happened. The airport’s authorities have confirmed there were no survivors.

This recording is one more of similar others that are now managing to capture terrible tragedies just as they are unfolding. The plane had just taken off when it crashed, bursting into flames.

An investigation has been opened to determine the nature of the plane crash. The plane was on its way to Misrata, Libya.
