Interesting: Biafrans engage in fasting and prayer; ask for forgiveness (video)

Some members of a Biafra group have turned to God in their bid to establish an independent Biafra state.

The agitation for Biafra has deepened since President Muhammadu Buhari took over power in 2015 coupled with the arrest and continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra.

The Indigenous People Of Biafra and the Movement for the Actualisation of a Sovereign State Of Biafra has been at the forefront for the fight for Biafra.

In a video shared by Radio Biafra, members of the group were seen dressed in white attires and praying for forgiveness to God to grant them their wishes of an independent Biafra state.

A Biafra flag was also placed at the centre while the members prayed.

The group wrote: If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and restore their land
