President General, Idi-Opi Town Union Salutes Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi On Acheievements So Far

Your Excellency Sir,

MESSAGE OF APPRECIATION AND GOODWILLL

I, the President General of Federated Idi-Opi Town Union, Idi Opi, in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, on behalf of the entire people of the Community, wish to use this medium to express our deep and sincere appreciation of the wonderful records of good governance you have created within this short period of taking over the mantle of leadership of our dear State.

We have watched with keen interest, great joy and satisfaction, how you deliberately set out to meticulously fulfil your campaign promises to the good people of the State, as contained in your "Road Map to Greater Enugu State" in which you vowed to build upon the 4-point Agenda of the immediate past administration, promising to give a special attention to Urban Renewal and Road Construction all over the State, with special attention to the most deplorable condition of Urban Infrastructure in Nsukka Zone.

Your Excellency, we are glad that you have already left a rich and enduring legacy for the people of Nsukka: the award of contract for the dualization of the Opi-Ede Oballa-Nsukka Road for the first time in history (already nearing completion at the moment) and another one, for the re-construction of the old Opi-Ehalumona-Obollo Afor Road- speaks volumes of your long standing dream to assuage the yearnings and quest of the people of this part of the State, for basic Infrastructures- especially good roads, which have eluded them for decades. 

We know you have just begun and are certain that many more goodies are coming the way of your people through your good leadership. Accordingly, we the people of Idi-Opi, from where you began this historic face-lift of Nsukka people, therefore fervently pray our good God who chose you from among us, to lead us (as King David) to continue to supply you with abundant health of mind and body, and the wisdom and good luck of Solomon, with which to lead the people of the entire Enugu State to the Caanan of their dreams, AMEN.
