The defeat also meant that Mourinho has now lost five games this season out of 16 played as coach of Man United.

Following the defeat, several supporters took to social media to call for the sacking of the former Chelsea manager.

Recall that popular Ghanaian juju priest Nana Kwaku Bonsam has stated that Mourinho’s present troubles with Manchester United was as a curse placed on him by former Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro.

The Gibralter-born doctor stormed a London court on January 6, as she began her legal challenge against Chelsea.

She was accused by Mourinho of being “impulsive and naive” after she raced onto the pitch to treat Eden Hazard in the opening day draw against Swansea.

Eva was later demoted from working on the bench during matches which prompted her to dump the club.

In September, the Football Association confirmed that Mourinho would face no charges over his comments towards Carneiro. However, the Manchester United manager later tendered an apology to Carneiro.
