The Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has reportedly told President Muhammadu Buhari to get ready as Nigeria would soon become history.

The agitating group, according to Daily Post, accused the president of engaging in witch-hunt while the country continues to suffer great losses.

MASSOB is angry with a statement credited to President Buhari that anyone who has another country aside Nigeria was free to leave.

Buhari reportedly said this when he received leaders of the Niger Delta in Aso Rock, the seat of power in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

MASSOB declared that Nigeria would soon seize to exist for Biafra while comparing Buhari with Pharaoh in the Bible.

In a statement signed by its leader, Uchenna Madu, the group threatened that all those against their agitation for Biafra would suffer grave consequences.

“The Federal Government is busy, chasing, witch-hunting and killing Biafrans and agitators, while the country is collapsing, and will soon go into extinction because of clueless and directionless leadership.

“We reiterate our earlier position that those who wish to play pharaoh against the people of Biafra, will certainly experience the consequences of the Egyptian Pharaoh.

“President Buhari’s statement that anyone, who cherished another country can leave Nigeria is not something to be cheerful about, celebrated and in any way heartwarming. MASSOB views it as part of Pharaoh’s subtle way of mocking the Hebrews-Biafra.

“The people of Biafra should not celebrate or rejoice over that cunning and mocking assertion. The time of God’s calamitous earthquake that will delete the name of the country from the world map, government and other functions is very fast approaching.

“MASSOB and other pro-Biafran groups will continue to remain non-violent and focused, while watching the calamitous earthquake that will befall the Nigeria state because of the hardening of President Buhari’s heart against Biafrans.

“We will continue to be loyal to Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu’s principles, vision and legacies; and continue to revive and refresh the consciousness of Ojukwuism in the minds of every Biafran,” the group said.
