– The Super Eagles face Senegal in a friendly next year 

– The NFF confirmed that the match will be played in London 

– The Super Eagles could face Ivory Coast next year also  

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that the Super Eagles will face the Terranga Lions of Senegal in an international friendly.

The NFF press officer Oladamola Olajire told Super Sport that the match will be played in London in March 2017.  He said the Eagles could also face Ivory Coast also if a deal could be met.

NFF chairman, Amaju Pinnick also confirmed his board has secured the game for next year and could face defending African champions, Côte d’Ivoire.

“I can confirm that the Senegal deal has been sealed and we will be playing the Teranga Lions in London next March,” Olajire told Supersport.

“We are also working on securing another friendly with the Ivory Coast and hopefully that game will also see the light of day.”

The friendlies have been set up to boost up preparations for Super Eagles’ World Cup qualifier against Cameroon.

The Super Eagles currently sit atop Group B table with six points from two games.
