The thoughts of many Chelsea fans was for the Super Eagles’ striker to be loaned out again this term, but Chelsea new manager Antonio Conte gave him the chance, and the former Liverpool forward grabbed the opportunity.

Spanish giants Barcelona have been reportedly considering a shocking bid for Victor Moses in the January 2017 transfer window, although the striker has explained that he is happy at Chelsea and even the club’s manager Antonio Conte might not wish to let him go.

1. Childhood club

Super Eagles striker Victor Moses was born on December 12, 1990 in a northern Nigerian state of Kaduna, and when the striker was growing up, his love for Barcelona was superb as he had always wished to play for the club in his life. Considering his love for the club when he was young, Moses might be considering leaving Stamford Bridge for Nou Camp.

2. Third Nigerian player

Another significant reason Victor Moses might want to join Barcelona is for him to be the third Nigerian player that will feature for the Spanish club. Former Super Eagles star Emmanuel Amunike was the first Nigerian player to have played for the club after signing in the year 1996, but injury decimated his stay at the club in 1997. Gbenga Okunowo also played for Barcelona in 1997.

3. Replacement for Dani Alves

Victor Moses leaving Chelsea for Barcelona will be a better replacement for Brazilian winger Dani Alves, and the Nigerian forward would definitely be drafted into the first team of the club.
