According to the statement, Ado Ekiti local government recorded the highest number of membership, with 30,070 members.

Others include: Oye 23,130, Ekiti Southwest 19,972, Ijero 16,379, Ikole 16, 294, Ekiti West 16,020, Irepodun/Ifelodun 15,389, Ido/Osi 13,100, Gbonyin 12,656, Moba 11,028, Ikere 10,568, Ekiti East 10,070, Ise/Orun 9,586, Efon 8,594, Emure 8,156 and Ilejemeje 5,515.

Awe who described the allegation that the party coerced civil servants to join the party as a figment of rumour peddlers’ imagination said, “Our party has no such intention and had only attracted the large turnout because of its popularity and the faith the people have in APC as well as their trust in the good work of the administration of Dr Kayode Fayemi”.

The party, according to him, was able to record massive turnout during the exercise despite all manner of criticisms from the opposition parties in the state.

Awe advised intending members yet to register as members of the party to visit their wards, saying the exercise will continue in spite of the expiration of the deadline.

The chairman commended the party leaders for their peaceful conduct during the exercise, urging them to continue to act in the same manner before, during and after the election.
