The meeting between the Governor and his former teacher was full of emotions, joy and pride.

This pleasant meeting turned up just at the right moment. The warm conversation with the teacher may cheer up Fashola and make him overcome the difficulties.

Recently, the Lagos State Governor has been highly criticized for not performing his duties. Chief Makanjuola Ogundipe, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the South-West even said:

“No one should say Fashola is doing well in Lagos. Go to Akwa Ibom and see what the governor is doing there. Look at the stadium in Akwa Ibom. How many stadiums has Fashola built? There are bad roads all over the state with heavy traffic every day.

“Instead of Fashola to fix the roads, he was busy repairing Federal Government roads and sending inflated bills to the Federal Government as the cost of repair.”
