INEC Publishes Names Of 14 Presidential Aspirants

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published names of 14 presidential candidates for the 2015 general elections Vanguard reports.

The details of the names were released on the Commission’s website on Tuesday January 13, showing that we have one presidential candidate and four vice presidential candidates are females.

The candidates are :

1. Sen. Tunde Anifowose-Kelani as the presidential candidate of Accord Alliance (AA) and Mr Ishaka Paul as his running mate.

2. Rufus Salawu as Presidential Candidate and Akuchie Clif as his vice president for AD.

3. Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima and Ojengbede Farida as the presidential and vice president of ACPN.

4. Dr Mani Ahmad and Obianuju Murphy-Uzohue as president and vice president for ADC.

5. Ayeni Adebayo as president and Anthony ologbosere, female for APA.

6. Muhammadu Buhari and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as president and vice president for APC.

7. Chief Sam Eke as its presidential candidate and Hassana Hassan as vice president for CPC

8. High Chief Ambrose Owuru and Alhaji Haruna Shaba as president and vice president for Hope Party.

9. Comfort Sonaiya and Alhaji Seidu Bobboi as president and vice president for KOWA.

10. Chief Martin Onovo as president and Ibrahim Mohammed as vice president for NCP

11. Dr Goodluck Jonathan, and Namadi Sambo as his running mate for PDP.

12. Allagoa Chinedu as presidential candidate with Arabamhen Mary (female) as vice president for PPN.

13. Godson Okoye is the presidential candidate and Haruna Adamu as vice president for UDP
14. Dr Chekwas Okorie is the presidential candidate  and Mr Bello Umar as vice president for UPP.

However the Labour Party (LP) and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) have already adopted the PDP candidate, Presidnt Goodluck Jonathan as their candidate as well.
