General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.), the flag bearer of the
opposition, All Progressives Congress (APC) in next month’s presidential
election is expected to storm the Sani Abacha stadium in Kano, Kano
State with his entourage.
The crowd of the APC supporters as usual, had been gathering at the stadium, hours before the arrival of General.

The APC campaign team, led by General Buhari, has already visited more than five states. In Niger, Benue, Jos, Rivers and Lagos, thousands gathered to welcome Buhari.
Incumbent President Jonathan, representing the ruling Peoples Democratic Congress (PDP), who is key opponent of APC candidate in February polls, has also been campaigning across the country and has been received warmly.
But few hours after Jonathan and his team visited the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, youths took to the streets to ‘sweep’ the President and his entourage away.
