Suicide bomber blows self up in Gombe

A suspected suicide bomber riding a motorcycle along Kasuwan Mata area of Gombe metropolis was reported killed yesterday.
Our correspondent gathered that the bomber was riding a motorcycle by himself around 6: 30pm when the bomb he was carrying exploded killing him.
Sources told Daily Trust that after the explosion a mob burned his remains at the scene.
“The bomber was riding along the Kasuwan Mata road when suddenly the bomb he was carrying exploded killing him and damaging the motorcycle he was on. After the incident, a mob gathered the scattered human parts and burned it,” the source said.
The state police spokesman, DSP Fwaje Atajiri, could not be reached for comment.
